In the basement of the
castle's northern wing, guests will find Wine Bar, offering
more than 200 different wines, most of them accessible to any wallet.
Grape and fruit wines, dry or sweet, entice patrons with the aroma of
the region they come from. The bartenders will help the undecided make
a choice. Regular customers recommend Galician and Old-Polish wines.
Heated with spices, these mulled wines taste wonderful on a long autumn
or winter evening. Over a glass of wine, a mug of grog or a tankard of
beer, stories are told of old and present times. It is noisy, merry and
hospitable in here, just like things used to be in the Poland of old.
Drunk in moderation
Wine sharpens the wit, nourishes a man,
It's good on his stomach and adds maturity.
Worries and useless thoughts go right out of his head,
A feat no one can hope to achieve with words alone.
It's the mother of happy days, bringing good thoughts,
A mind heated with wine feels no trouble...*
