The castle in Krasiczyn is one of the most beautiful treasures of Renaissance in Poland, ranks among the most beautiful castles in Europe. It was built at the turn of 16th and 17th centuries by Stanisław Krasicki and his son Marcin. The two screen walls were topped with an openwork attic. Characteristic, four - corner towers embracing the building, called: Divine, Papal, Royal and Noble whose names were supposed to reflect, approved by founders the hierarchy of the world. The courtyard appears to be the best place to admire the rich sgraffiti decorations presenting Polish kings, medallions with Caesars’ busts, the Bible and hunting scenes.
